Privacy Policy.
This policy explains what personal information Holonomy Systems ("we", "us") collects through this website, why, and your choices. Questions or requests: jim@holonomy.systems (the data controller).
Information we collect
- Information you give us — when you submit the "Talk specs" (contact) or "Back us" (data-room) forms: your name, work email, organisation / fund, and the message or specifications you provide. Only submit what you're comfortable sharing.
- Technical data — our host records standard request logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp) briefly, for security and reliability.
- Analytics — we use privacy-first, cookieless analytics that measure aggregate traffic (pages, referrers, country) without tracking you across sites or building a profile.
Cookies & local storage
We use only essential storage: a single browser localStorage flag that remembers you
dismissed the cookie notice. We set no advertising or tracking cookies, and our
analytics are cookieless — so no consent banner is required. If we ever add a tracking technology,
we will ask for your consent first.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry, evaluate a potential technical, commercial, or investment relationship, keep the site secure, and improve it. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to and following up on enquiries, and on your consent where you provide it. You can object or withdraw consent at any time.
Processors we rely on
We share the minimum necessary with service providers who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, CDN, security, form handling, and cookieless analytics.
- Resend — delivery of form submissions to our inbox (transactional email).
- Google Workspace — our business email (where your enquiry lands).
- Attio — customer/investor relationship management, if used to track enquiries. [confirm]

International transfers
Some processors are based in the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses). [Counsel to confirm the mechanism and add the transfer statement.]
Retention
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable follow-up, then delete it. Investor/data-room enquiries are retained until the relevant process concludes, then deleted or returned. [Counsel to confirm specific periods.]
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including GDPR and CCPA/CPRA), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to processing, or request portability. Because our analytics are cookieless and we don't sell data, there is nothing to opt out of for sale/sharing. To exercise any right, email jim@holonomy.systems.
Security
We use reputable providers and transport encryption (HTTPS), and limit access to enquiry data. No method of transmission is perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above.
